Sign-Up Instructions
To become a member through the WIN website, simply click Join, then click one of the membership levels; either Business, Personal or Student. Fill out the MNWIN Directory form and pay through Paypal, by credit card or by sending a check. Your directory listing will then await approval by the WIN membership team. In the meantime, please do not make any changes to your listing. You will receive an email once it's approved.
Every listing contains 2 parts:
1. Directory listing a. Shown to everyone under Member Directory on the website. b. Contains all of the information you filled out on the form when you joined including a logo & photo. c. To make changes, login on the website (left side under navigation). If you’re already logged in, click Directory & Forum Details under the User Menu on the left side. Underneath your profile are 3 tabs; Contact Info, Forum & Directory Listing. Click Directory Listing then click Edit. Make changes, then click Send at the bottom. Reminder: If you want to change your logo or photo, you must 1st click Remove Logo (or Photo), click Send at the bottom, then go back up upload the new Logo or photo.
2. Profile a. This website has an “internal” component that allows you to communicate through forums & internal messaging. b. Shown only to members when they login. c. Where you can update your password, view your own Forum Posts and can also maintain your Directory listing by clicking on that tab. d. To make changes, login on the website (left side under navigation). If you’re already logged in, click Edit my Profile under the User Menu on the left side. Above your profile click the Edit button and from the dropdown box, choose either Update Your Profile or Update Your Image. This is a different image than the Directory Listing.
To communicate with other members in Forums, simply login, click the Forum tab at the very top of the website, select a Forum and either start a New Thread or Reply to current topics.
To communicate with other members through internal messaging, login, then click All Users under User Menu on the left. Everyone’s internal profile will be displayed.
- Click on a user, then click on Messages.
- Send Private Messages sends messages to a user through their mailbox on the website, similar to sending someone a message on Facebook. Users will know they have a message when they login and see "New Messages: 1" under Messaging on the left side but will NOT be notified otherwise that they have a message.
- Send Email sends messages directly to the email address they have on file.
